The Edinburgh
Festival
is the biggest arts festival in the world and it's in full
swing in Scotlands' premier city.
You might have trouble deciding what to see, as in fact, the
festival is made up of about 5 festivals all simultaneously
happening in Scotland's Capital.
You will need to spend about 3 months in Edinburgh to see
everything happening during August, but alas you only have
from 5th August to the 1st September to enjoy the delights
of the Edinburgh 2001 season. Of course you can still catch
many of the regular shows and performances in the city throughout
the year, but the atmosphere of the festival is unrivaled
at any other event, worldwide. Make an effort to come and
soak up the atmosphere and see some of the shows next year
if you are unable to get to Scotland this year.
